PR
BA(Hons) Public Relations at University College Falmouth is ceasing recruitment of new students for the foreseeable future. The decision to cease recruitment is based on student numbers. Public Relations has always been a niche course at Falmouth and the number of students joining the course each year has always been relatively low. While this has the benefit for students of fairly intimate class sizes and a low student-to-staff ratios, it makes it impossible to sustain the teaching resources required to provide a high quality experience.
This does not mean that Public Relations will cease to exist at Falmouth. As the institution moves towards a modular structure, teaching of relevance to the subject will continue within the Advertising, Journalism and Creative Events Management courses. We will also be developing new courses in the sphere of the promotional industries.
