Anne Taylor

Anne mainly teaches writing, editing and research skills, and has a particular interest in health and environment journalism.  She is highly regarded within the field of medical Journalism, and has been awarded a commendation in the Norwich Union Healthcare Medical Journalism Awards.

After running a busy news desk, working as news editor of General Practitioner magazine, Anne began working as a freelance health writer.  As well as writing for a number of specialist magazines, websites, and non-profit making organisations, she has had work published in The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Daily Mail and women’s magazines such as Best and Top Santé.

Anne retains strong links within the media industry and arranges for guest speakers to make regular visits to the College. She is currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Sussex and is particularly interested in the field of creative non-fiction. She has developed a strong interest in education and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Plymouth.
